About The Glow Up System

The Glow Up System started with one frustration — most home decor and garden advice online assumes you have a large house, a generous budget, and unlimited time. Real American homes are smaller than that. Real budgets are tighter than that. And real people need ideas that actually work in a 10 by 12 foot bedroom or a 6 by 8 foot patio, not in a magazine spread.

That is what this site exists to fix.

I am Sheikh Hassaan, a digital architect for small businesses, and I built The Glow Up System to be the home decor and garden resource I kept looking for and could not find — one that takes real room sizes seriously, gives specific actionable advice instead of vague inspiration, and treats the reader as someone capable of making their own decisions when given the right information.

Every article on this site is researched and written with one question in mind: would this actually help someone with a normal home make a real improvement today? If the answer is no the article does not get published. If the answer is yes we go as deep as needed to make it genuinely useful — dimensions, product names, costs, and the specific details that most home decor content skips over.

What We Cover

Home Decor: Bedroom ideas, living room styling, entryway organization, kitchen updates, bathroom decor, and apartment decorating for real US homes in realistic sizes with realistic budgets.

Garden and Outdoor Living: Garden borders, paths, patio layouts, privacy plants, container gardening, balcony gardens, and outdoor space ideas for typical American backyards — not sprawling estates.

How We Research and Write

Every article on The Glow Up System goes through a consistent process. We research the topic thoroughly across authoritative sources. We apply real design principles rather than trend-chasing. We write for the specific conditions of American homes — climate zones, typical room dimensions, common architectural styles, and accessible product availability.

Where we recommend products we link to verified sources. Where we cite statistics or expert guidance we link to the original authority. We do not publish filler content and we do not recommend products we would not use ourselves.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some articles on this site contain affiliate links, primarily to Amazon. When you purchase through these links we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This never influences our recommendations — if a product is not genuinely useful for the topic we are covering it does not appear in the article regardless of commission potential.
